Originally, we began as a dry goods packaging business for reptiles while also operating a cricket farm, supplying customers across the United States. Through close collaboration with industry experts, we developed a highly efficient and reliable system for producing both crickets and superworms.
Upon relocating to Thailand, we successfully replicated and adapted this proven system to local conditions, ensuring a consistent and efficient supply of high-quality feeders. This allows us to maintain a steady production of live feed, both for our own use and for the broader reptile community.
At SRR, in addition to breeding reptiles on a commercial scale, we also produce high volumes of house crickets (Acheta domesticus) for our own feeder supply. With 30 years of experience in the reptile industry—ranging from packaging and feeder production to large-scale reptile breeding—we recognize the critical role of self-sustaining feeder production in scaling a reptile farm efficiently.
Our cricket breeding facility utilizes advanced methods, equipment, and setups originally developed in the United States, where we first began cricket production. Leveraging this expertise, we now produce one to two tons of crickets per month for our own use.
